Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 3 years and 5 months old | 16 lbs
he threw up twice yesterday night 10pm and ever since then he’s just been sleeping in the same spot, when he lifts his head his eyes are very sleepy. He didn’t get up for breakfast which is very unusual but did eat a little bit of dry food when I put it in front of him, and he urinated in litter box around 5am. Could this be a reaction to Revolution taken on Sunday? (He’s taken it for two years)? Lethargic and not moving around, sleepy eyes. New kitten in house two weeks ago.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Pillsbury! I do not think the lethargy and vomiting is due to the Revolution. Causes of vomiting are: intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections (possibly from new kitten), dietary indiscretion (ate some of the kitten food?), ate something that is stuck, pancreatitis, food allergy/intolerance. I am glad he ate for you. I would watch him for the next 24 hours. If he continues to vomit or not eating then he should be seen tomorrow or Friday by your Vet. I wish you all the best!
