My puppy is throwing up, not eating, and has no energy. What to do?

My 4 month puppy has been sick for 2 days now. The first day he woke up fine then he started to throw up. All his food came out. He kept throwing up all day, especially after drinking water. The second day he threw up a few times and since has been able to keep water and pedialyte down. But he is still very sad and has no energy for anything. His poop was normal the first day but he hasn’t gone since. He won’t eat anything. What can I do? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 25 lbs

Hi there! Sorry to hear that Charlie is not feeling well. The clinical signs you describe are concerning when they occur in a puppy as they can be seen with serious gastrointestinal infections such as Parvovirus. Other possibilities include intestinal worms and dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. The sooner these conditions are treated the better the outcome tends to be. For this reason, I recommend that you have Charlie evaluated by your veterinarian to check for these possibilities and to start therapy based on findings.
