Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 11 months old | 8 lbs
My dog zippers has blood in her stool she is not vomiting or having diarrhea. She doesn't have any visible worms in poop. She poops whole at first there is no blood, the second time she tries to poop that's when there is blood(not a lot but visible). She is still eating drinking water and is having tons of energy as she would normally. I am concerned because she doesn't seem to have any serious symptoms but she has blood in stool which is concerning to me

I agree that blood in the stool is concerning. Many parasites can be present in the intestinal tract without being visible in the stool. I would highly encourage you to have a fecal examination done by your veterinarian to look for any evidence of parasites. In my young patients I typically perform a broad spectrum deworming even if the fecal Sample is negative due to the possibility of false negatives. However dietary indiscretion, objects in the colon (toy she may have eaten) intestinal infection are all possibilities as well. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
