Cat has bloody diarrhea, roundworms, and new food. Is it related?

My cat has diarrhea and pooping blood. He has roundworms and I did change his brand of food. Wondering if this is the cause? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 15 lbs
