Cat has bloody diarrhea, roundworms, and new food. Is it related?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 15 lbs

My cat has diarrhea and pooping blood. He has roundworms and I did change his brand of food. Wondering if this is the cause?

Yes, this is very likely to be the cause of it.I would recommend to have him treated as soon as possible by your veterinarian with appropriate treatment on prescription.
