Is my 2-month puppy safe from parvo after 2 shots and walks outside?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | 2 months and 12 days old | 2.5 lbs

Is it possible for my 2 month old puppy to get a parvo even if we vaccine it in two times? I'm worried because I gave her a walk outside I thought it was okay because she has a two vaccine.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. It is still possible for Moana to get Parvo regardless of the current vaccines. She is not fully vaccinated and is at the age where she is susceptible the most to the parvo virus. If she is showing symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, abdominal pain, etc. then I would recommend having her examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
