Why isn't my dog's skin wound healing with peroxide and Vetericyn?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 8 lbs

Hi we thought this may had been an allergy to something however it has gotten worse we keep the area clean and put peroxide and vetericyn on it can you plz tell us what may be wrong with our girl ?

Hello. It is a bit difficult to see the wound clearly due to what appears to be ointment all over it, but this looks like a pretty severe infection. Even though you are using peroxide and ointment, infections of the skin almost always require an oral antibiotic. Selene should see a veterinarian to have this looked at.
