My 4-week pregnant dog won't eat and has diarrhea. Is this normal?

my terrier is 4 weeks pregnant and has had no appetite for 4 days will only eat a small amount of ham or sausage given to her by hand, also she has slight diarrhoea, is this normal. Thanks Barbara. Pet's info: Dog | Parson Russell Terrier | Female | unspayed | 5 years old

This is not normal usually in the middle of pregnancy. Since she is having diarrhea and also pregnant, I would have your vet take a look at her. Your vet will be able to determine the cause of the diarrhea and not eating and get her started on the proper meds that are safe for both her and the unborn puppies. I hope this helps!
