What soft food is best for a cat recovering from liver failure?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 8 lbs

Our cat is recovering from liver failure An is still being force feed, 12 days now, he has eat recovery an AD, he will not try anything, what is a great soft food to try. This was caused by infected teeth he had iv’s for 4 days 8 am to 6 pam week ago

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Aww sweet pictures... poor fellow. If Seet is not wanting to eat much, you may want to ask his veterinarian about trying a appetite stimulant. These can help quite a bit. Giving an antibiotic for his infected teeth can also help as well if this has not already been prescribed. You can also try feeding very small amounts of food frequently so as not to overwhelm him. Heating the food up in the microwave to bring out the flavor can entice him as well. Best wishes to you and Seet!
