My dog's eyes and ears are swollen, red, and itchy. What's wrong?

My dogs eyes are swollen and ears are swollen as well she has red in her ears and above one of her eyes. We have no clue what the problem is and don’t think she was bit. She keeps shaking her head and rubbing her face against stuff like the couch. She is a German Shepard ridgeback lab. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3 years and 2 months old | 55 lbs

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Poor Honey! From your pictures I agree that Honey is red and swollen around her eyes. Based on the pictures and how itchy you are describing her I think she is suffering from an allergic reaction. The reaction can be from an insect bite or from an allergen. We usually never find the source. I treat allergic reactions with antihistamines and steroids. Honey should be taken the Vet for immediate relief.
