Kitten fell and is limping. Is it a fracture or sprain? What to do?

Hello - my 7 week old kitten fell from 1 and half feet flower vase and she is limping in her one left leg for the last 1 hour. I didn't feel any broken bones and she didn't cry when I pressed while checking her leg. However she is going to corners and sleeping and she is walking with a limp. I am assuming that's it's not a fracture and just a joint pull. Unfortunately it's 10pm IST. Do you think it's a fracture and if Not can you please suggest any possible first aid treatment? Thanks

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Savannah! Possible causes for the limp could be a muscle strain or sprain, bruise of the bone, a wound from the vase or it can still be a fracture (of bone or growth plate). The limping and hiding in corners likely indicates she is in pain. I recommend confining her for the night and taking her to the Vet in the morning for an exam if she is still limping. You can do more harm by bandaging the leg incorrectly and cats are extremely sensitive to human medications so I do not recommend giving her anything not prescribed by your Vet. I wish Savannah the very best!
