I would recommend having a veterinarian take a look at this. The leg could be swollen due to an injury (soft tissue or bone fracture), infection or other systemic cause. I would recommend having x-rays taken of the leg to help rule out a bone fracture and go from there. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
