Why is my 4-month-old Bengal kitten vomiting with bloody stool?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 20 days old | 5 lbs

Hi, I have a 4 month old bengal cat and he has recently thrown up a few times (4 or 5 over 2 weeks) and he was scratching his head a bit after we had taken him outside. this morning my wife found small specs of blood on him bum after going to poop. I am going to keep an eye on it and collect a sample if it happens again but aside from this he is completely normal. super active and playful.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Blaze. I would recommend either taking him to see his veterinarian or asking if you can drop a fecal sample off. Parasites are common in young kittens and can result in vomiting and blood in the stool. If this does not yield a diagnosis, then I would discuss a diet change with his veterinarian. I hope this information helps!
