My new pet rat is sneezing with red discharge. What should I do?

Hello, i am concerned about my new pet rat that i had bought on 17th of May and ever since she has been taken from the pet shop, she (dambo) started sneezing frequently and still currently sneezes and produces porphyrin around eyes and nose area but other than that, Dambo seems to be playing with her friend sometimes but mostly sleeps during the day. please tell me what i should do.

It's most likely an upper respiratory infection, it's very very common in rats unfortunately. it will need to be treated with antibiotics, usually the treatment is quite long (3-6 weeks) and the condition never heals completely- she will need antibiotic treatment once in a while each time the problem comes back. i strongly recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get in order to get this sorted.
