My dog's cherry eye is worse, weeping, and tender. Should I worry?

My dog's cherry eye seems to be getting worse, it is constantly weeping, and is very tender to the touch. Is this something I should be concerned with? During my most recent Vet visit in November, the Dr didn't seem to be to concerned at that time. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 12 years old

Have you discussed surgery with your veterinarian. It sounds like there maybe a secondary infection if it is tender and has discharge. I would encourage you to have a follow up appointment with your veterinarian soon. They may send home topical medication and I would encourage you to discuss surgery to correct the problem.
