How much to feed my active, thin cat? Dry and wet food daily.

Question

I'm not sure how much I should be feeding Luna depending on her weight, she's also quite active throughout the day and is on the thinner side. I feed her dry food in the morning and wet food at night (pictures). Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 11 months and 20 days old | 8.2 lbs

Hello. Most cats are happiest if they can have free choice on their dry food, & this may be the best thing for Luna since she is still young & growing. I would not put out so much that it sits for days, so maybe start with about a cup of dry. In the evening, if she will eat a full tin of the wet food, then that would be appropriate. Again, see how much she eats over an hour or so, she may also just be happy with a half can. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
