Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 8 years and 2 months old | 33 lbs
My dog has stomach issues. So I took him to a veterinarian and they took crags of his stomach and told me he probably has a tumor in his stomach. So I asked them to show me, but they could not they said because of all the gas in his stomach. So I took him to a veterinarian, he told me to change his diet. Still vomits and now he wants to eat everything on the ground and will not leave it. He's 8yrs old Australian shepherd and yorkie. Lab work great, losing his teeth and very active and happy.

It is very hard to identify a stomach tumor off an x ray. A diet change is a good start but since there is still vomiting, you will need further testing for more complete answers You can consult with a vet about having an ultrasound done. This can look inside the stomach and the intestines. IF there is a tumor, then it will likely show up on this test. it can also measure the intestines and look at the lymph nodes. This can indicate a cancer or inflammatory bowel disease. Based on these results will dictate which diet is best and what medication can be added to help further control the symptoms.
