My new dog has bloody diarrhea, what can I do until the vet?

Just rescued a 3 yr old Bernese female. She has bloody diarrhea. Can’t schedule vet until Monday Any suggestions ? Pet's info: Dog | Bernese Mountain Dog | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 60 lbs

If besides having bloody diarrhea Abby is bright and eats and drinks, you can put her on a bland ration of white rice and white boneless chicken feeding small quantities 3-4 times a day. Make sure she drinks enough water. If Abby appears sick, lethargic, does not eat nor drink or appears very pale (check her gums, they should be pink or pale pink), then she needs to be seen today by a vet or in a Pet ER.
