Why is my cat's poop black, and she stops eating after one bite?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 15 years and 3 months old | 10.36 lbs

Hi , My female cat has a problem with digestion , she is very testy , she is asking for food and looks like she has appetite but when she start eating ,after first bite she stops. She has diarrhea ( but this is she has on /off for many years ), her stool sometimes smell bad , and has some slime and blood ( also it is on/off)Lately we can see that stool looks blackish. Can you give me idea where should we look for the problem ?

There are a number of concerns here but the development of blacker stools can be indicative of internal bleeding and requires urgent veterinary assessment and a check up of kidney function and dental health (swallowed blood can be detected in stools). It sounds like she has also suffered from colitis and/or pancreatitis (soft, slimey, malodorous) in the past and diet change to a high fiber, low fat complete food may help depending on the findings of her physical exam and blood/urine tests
