My cat peed after neutering. Is a red, bleeding incision normal?

My cat just got neutered about 7 or 8 hours ago. We just picked him up from the animal hospital and the person who was monitoring him, told me that he peed himself. I have another cat who also got neutered the same day but when you look at his incision all you can is a red incision, but when you look at the cat who peed itself, its bottom area is completely red and look like they are bleeding. Since my cat peed itself, I was wondering if it was okay to wash it and if the incision site was normal. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 5 lbs

It certainly doesn't sound like Cookie's incision is normal if the entire area is red and looks like it's bleeding. I would have him seen by a vet right away for this, as I think it's important to have him examined to make sure everything is ok since I can't see him myself. I would not wash the area until Cookie is seen by a vet for a check, and they can let you know if it's safe to wash him or not.
