My cat has blood in his poop, but it's not loose. Should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Exotic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 10 lbs

My cat pooped and it had some blood in it, although it wasn't loose stool it was grade 2.5 in the feces chart (i googled it) I gave him some olive oil in his cat food but should I go to a vet just in case? he is a 5 year old Exotic short hair with asthma and history of kidney infection.

If he is acting completely normal then I would actually recommend monitoring this for now. This could be an isolated incident where there was mild irritation of his intestines. If it repeats itself then most definitely get him checked out. But there is a chance that things will go back to normal on their own.
