Why is my 10-month pitbull's vulva swollen with bloody poop?

My pitbull is 10 months and her vaginal area is swollen and res but she acts like her goofy self. But she had a poop and there was liquid blood with it. What should i do????. HELPPPPP. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 9 months and 25 days old

It is possible that your dog is in heat since she has not been spayed. If the signs do not resolve in the next couple of weeks, you should have her checked out by a veterinarian. In the meanwhile, you should probably keep her away from any intact male dogs.
