What can I feed my active dog with loose stool to firm it up?

I m from India (Mumbai). My 9 month golden retriever has loose stool from 2 days. Still he is active and eating fine. What should I feed him to ferm stool?

You can try feeding a bland diet of plain boiled chicken and rice for the next few days - this often helps to resolve diarrhea if the cause is something minor like a mild upset stomach. Intestinal parasites are also a very common cause of diarrhea in young dogs, so I would recommend deworming her if this hasn't been done recently. If there is no improvement in the next 2-3 days, or if she develops any other symptoms such as vomiting, acting lethargic, or not wanting to eat, then she will need to see a vet as these can be signs of a more serious problem.
