Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 2 years and 5 months old | 55 lbs
I have two dogs each about 55-60 lbs. One or both of them ate 1 or 2 nexgard flea medication of a 25-59 lb dose. What steps should I take to ensure they do not become ill? Thank you

The good news is that Nexgard is a safe flea medication. Vomiting and diarrhea have been seen when a dog is given five times the recommended dose. If your dogs only had at most two of these dose, then you should not see any adverse effects from it :-)

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Gabby. Nexgard was tested in safety studies. It was given at 5 times the normal dose to puppies with no adverse effects. She will likely be fine with the dose she received. However, you can always contact the ASPCS Animal Poison Control to sure. I hope this information helps!
