Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 9 years and 11 months old | 50 lbs
Hi, My cat is about 10 years old. He recently had flees, but now after treatment has lost large patches of hair. He has become extremely skinny over time. He's been have regular accidents of liquidy diarrhea. He seems to be in pain, he refuses to sit down fully, and whips his tail aggresively. We previosuly had a cat who we made an appointment for with these same symptoms, who sadly died the day of. We don't know what to do currently.

Kitty should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. He could have hyperthyroidism and your vet can run blood-work to test his thyroid level. Once your vet determines the exact cause, he/she can recommend a treatment. Hope he feels better soon.
