My dog broke her nail and has a part of her nail with soft tissue hanging down at the bottom. What do I do? Pet's info: Dog | Shetland Sheepdog | Female | spayed | 30 lbs

Ouch, poor Zoey! I would not try to remove it yourself, as it is likely painful to her and she may bite you due to the pain. I would try to cover it tonight, and put an Ecollar on her to prevent her from licking at it. Take her into the vet in the morning to have the nail removed.
