Sick pet won't eat/drink, losing weight. What can I do on a budget?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 18 years and 9 months old | 160 lbs

Hi my pet is real sick and money tight what can I do she wont eat or drink water and she losing a lot of weight concerning pet owners.

So sorry that she is sick. Without actually knowing the cause it is hard to recommend a treatment. At her age, she could have liver or kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, Cushing's disease, Addison's disease, cancer, etc. The only way to know the cause is to have a vet do a workup with blood-work and x-rays. If you can't take her to a vet than try to feed different types of foods and see if you can get her to eat. You could add some boiled chicken to her food and see if she would eat that. Your vet may also be able to do minimal treatment with fluids and an appetitie stimulant without running any testing. Hope she feels better soon.
