Why is my cat walking with her butt low and tail sensitive?

My cat started acting weird this afternoon. She was fine this morning and when I came home from class she was walking with her butt really low to the ground and her tail seems sensitive. She's mewing a little but not a ton and doesn't seem to be in acute pain. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female

It sounds like she may have injured her tail or pelvis, possibly from an accident or bite. If this continues beyond 12hours or she develops any fever or additional pain you should have her checked by your vet
