Puppy throwing up and restless but still playing. Should I worry?

My puppy has been restless. Thursday night he couldnt sleep he kept switching positions and whining a little, he looked like he wanted to vomit but didnt and he kept opening his mouth or licking the air. Friday he was fine playing and eating fine. Saturday morning he is thowing up and whining a little. But he ate pooped and urinated. And he is playing again. Should i be concerned? I would be concerned in that it's not normal for puppies to throw up, and it's possible that Saint ate something that upset his stomach, causing nausea (licking the air) and then the vomiting. I will give you a home remedy to see if that helps before having to take him to the vet. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.
