Pet's info: Cat | Chartreux | Male | neutered | 4 years and 8 months old
My cousin had his new cat over yesterday for a couple minutes (he did not mark inside the house). When I woke up today my cat peed and pooped on the comforter that i was sleeping under. I'm going to the store to buy an odor removal, but is it possible that my cat will continue to do this?

It is hard to say. It is likely that this is behavior caused by the stress of the new cat coming over. Make sure you clean the comforter well with the odor remover. Enzymatic cleaners, like Nature's Miracle are best. Also consider looking into a product called Feliway that may help calm Shadow and prevent this behavior from continuing.

It may very well be a response to the strange cat outdoors. Tigger may be displaying this marking behavior as a result. Consider a Feliway pheromone plug in diffuser around the house to decrease any anxiety or aggression. You can also use a small animal repellant along the border of your yard/property to keep the cat away. You can find a powder or liquid repellant in most hardware stores or home improvement stores. If the behavior persists, have Tigger examined by your veterinarian to diagnose UTI or kidney disease.
