Why does my intact dog have red lumps on his penis when it's out?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 1 month old

What could cause a 2 year old male not fixed dog to have lumps on both sides of his penis...when his penis comes out lumps get bigger and penis is red

Male dogs have two accessory sex glands located on either side of the penis near the base, called bulbourethral glands. They typically become engorged, firm, and much more noticeable when the penis is erect. From your description, I suspect that this may be what you are noticing. But if you have any concerns, you could always take Lucky to your vet and have them check to make sure that everything is normal :)
