My spayed female cat is bleeding from her vagina. What should I do?

My female cat is 8.5years old she was neutered at 6 months old, she appears to the bleeding from here vagina, what should I do?

I would take Keke into a vet now. She could have a UTI, bladder stones, an infection of the vagina, or she could have an infection of the remnants of uterus called a stump pyometra. Those are not common, but it is a possibility. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, and a urinalysis to diagnose what is causing the bleeding so she can be treated.

    She definitely needs a recheck since it is bloody now. It may be a bladder infection but it is easy to collect a urine sample and check to be certain. It may also be an infection in the uterine stump that gets left behind from the surgery or a vaginal infection and may need stronger or a longer course of antibiotics
