My cat was stepped on, can't walk, and pooped. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 2 months and 10 days old | 6 lbs

A friend stepped on my cat. She got a leg broken as she is not being able to walk. Some poop also came out from her anus. She is paining a lot while touching her. She is not being able to walk either. Is this life threatening? Can somebody advice! Please

Yes , this is potentially life threatening and obviously very painful. you need to take Mioou to a vet right away for an exam, pain medicine and stabilising the leg. she may have internal injuries as well. Ring your vet. If he does not do out of hours, then there will be an answering service giving you a number top call for out of hours emergency service. your local PDSA may also have an emergency clinic on his premises.

    The main concern is vertebral nerve damage, not controlling bowel movement could be one of the signs. if she was stepped on only on the leg then she defecated because of the pain. you must take her now to the emergency vet centre in order to get it treated.

    Given that she can't walk, is in a life of pain, and has some trouble controlling her bowels, this is a medical emergency, and she needs to see a vet now. I would be very concerned she has nerve damage in addition to the broken leg. Please take her into an ER vet now for treatment.
