My older cat, 9 year old female, has got a tik I have just removed it using tweezers but I'm scared incase it affects my younger kitten who is not old enough for his injections

If you removed the tick, it shouldn't be a problem for the younger kitten. I recommend treating the older cat with a spot on treatment, like Revolution, and then treating the kitten as soon as the kitten is old enough.

If the tick has been removed and destroyed it will not present a risk to the younger kitten. It is recommended to use tick preventions regularly on cats which are prone to picking them up and in contact cats
