My 8-year-old Boxer has a bump between chest and belly. What is it?

I noticed a bump on my dog between her chest a belly. She is an 8 year old boxer. I have a pic if there is a way to provide it.

Boxers are prone to mast cell tumors, and it's possible this bump is a mast cell tumor. Even though they are prone to them, these tumors tend to be less aggressive than in other breeds. It would be a good idea to have this lump examined by a vet. Once a diagnosis is made, the vet can recommend a treatment. Other causes of the lump include a cyst, abscess, a benign tumor, a lipoma (benign fatty tumor), or a malignant tumor.
