My dog is struggling to sit or jump. Is she having back pain?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 5 years and 8 months old | 20 lbs

Good morning! My dog is a little terrier mix about 20 lbs, I leaf her yesterday for about an hour, when I came back she didn't come to say Hi like always, I when to her bed to pick her up and I noticed she has hart time sitting or jumping or curling her back. Can this be a sign of she hurts her back jumping out of the couch or something? What do you suggest to get done on her? XR? She eat normal, but walk slowly

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! While back pain may definitely be the cause of this, other conditions can cause Honey to be less active or painful. For instance, conditions such as pancreatitis can cause abdominal pain, and thus reduced activity. I recommend having Honey seen by a vet, who can perform bloodwork and x-rays to determine what is causing these signs. Blodwork would be able to rule out any malfunctioning organs or infections, while x-rays can rule out abdominal masses and vertebral fractures or herniated discs. I hope all is well with Honey!
