Can rabbits see in the dark

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Rabbits are able to see in the dark, but not as well as they see in the light. They do not have a tapetum, which is the part of the eye that focuses light in the dark, so they are not able to see in the dark as well as dogs or cats, but they do have some vision.
