Why is my parrot sleeping all day, not eating, and losing weight?

My Casco parrot (6months old) has been sleeping all day long and he has barely eaten anything I tried looking and comparing his droppings and they are irregular in shape I heard they had to be regular. I think the color is no different than always . We have taken him to the vet for his monthly checkup and he has lost 12g so we were given vitamins(pills) and we were to give him a quarter of a pill everyday for 14 days. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | 8 months and 30 days old | 0.897 lbs

If he has lost that much weight, he needs additional diagnostic tests including bloodwork and x-rays. He may have an underlying virus or liver disease that needs additional treatment. Also, he needs nutrition so need to have veterinarian instruct you how to crop feed him.
