My dog vomited small blood spots. Could he have eaten something strange?

Dog vomited with small blood spots ( like round dots) but he keeps in good spirit . Is not coomon that on ocassion he eats strange objects, could be this?

Dogs often vomit after foreign body ingestion but not often vomitus containing blood. When we see red or brown spots in vomitus, it is concerning for a gastric ulcer. You should have your pet evaluated by a veterinarian and discuss abdominal x-rays.
