That's fine as long as it is a quality food. Stay away from store or discount brands as these typically contain low quality ingredients and more fillers. You should to brush her teeth daily as well. Use a pet approved tooth paste and toothbrush.

That's not an uncommon scenario. My dog actually prefers wet as well. I think the moisture and aroma have a lot to do with it. There are pros and cons to both types of food. Wet Food Pros: Canned diets can contain up to 70% water which can be a good source of hydration if your animal is the type that is reluctant to drink adequate amounts of water. Also, your pet can enjoy a larger portion per meal without adding more calories to their diet. Wet Food Cons: There a few drawbacks to canned food. Some pets will make a mess while it. The wet food will not aid in helping keep teeth clean as some of the dry kibble such as Hill's TD does. Wet food, once it has been opened, has lost any shelf life it had. It needs to be covered and refrigerated and used in a timely manor. Finally, it often costs more to feed a canned diet in most cases. Final Note: Try mixing a small amount of the canned with her dry and add warm water. I find this often entices then to eat dry kibble.
