My dog is throwing up dark brown liquid and won't eat. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 2 months old

Hi there, My dog (Teddy) is a 1yr old American bulldog that until two days ago was a perfectly normal, happy and energetic dog. He's since became very ill, vomiting up a horrible smelling, dark brown liquid. He's lost all playfulness and motivation, not moving from his bed in some cases even when he's sick. He hasn't eaten in two days nor had a poo, plus He's only pee'd once. He's not interested in going for walks when usually if I go anywhere near his lead he is bouncing! Please help!

Teddy needs to be seen by your veterinarian today. An exam should be followed by abdominal x-rays to diagnose obstruction and bloodwork to diagnose systemic infection or other conditions. Hospitalization and supportive care are likely indicated until a diagnosis is reached. This may include IV fluids, anti emetics and antibiotics (if indicated).

Smelly brown vomitus is very concerning as this is likely blood from some bleed anywhere from the throat, esophagus or stomach. teddy could be suffering from bleeding ulcers, or have an injury in his esophagus. You need to take Teddy to a vet now. this is an emergency.
