Gatorade and other sports drinks could lead to gastrointestinal upset. The sugar content is too high and they have no need for all the additional electrolytes, artificial colors, and artificial flavors. In addition, the low-calorie or 'light' versions of sports drinks likely have artificial sweeteners that also are not good for your cat to ingest. Clean water is the best thing for your cat to drink.
