I'm wondering if they mean an intestinal parasites. Those can be common in dogs and cause diarrhea. Dogs can get four different types of intestinal worms: Roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms. It is concerning that Pharaoh has been having diarrhea for a while, and whenever a dog has diarrhea longer than 24 hours, it's time to see a vet. Bring along a sample of his feces for the vet to examine for intestinal worms. A lot of times, only the eggs will be shed in the feces indicating worms, and those eggs can only be seen via microscope. I would take him into a vet today. Good luck, I hope this helps!
