My pet is injured, in pain, can't walk. What do I do without a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Male | 6 months and 12 days old

Somebody beat him.. he is unable to walk properly...he is in pain... his face is swollen... wat can i do so that i can relieve some pain... there is no vet in this area...

Oh no, poor Milky! Unfortunately there are no human pain medications you can give him, many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. In addition, he could have broken bones from being beat and serious internal injuries. I would take him in your car to the nearest vet, or contact your local animal rescue so they can get him into a vet for emergency treatment. His symptoms are a medical emergency, and he has to see a vet now. Good luck!

Please do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. Due to this and the fact that he is in pain, I'd take him into a vet now to get treated. I would be worried because Squeaky is clearly in pain, and he could have internal injuries. Unfortunately you cannot give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. He really should see a vet first thing in the morning. Thank you for using Boop by Petco I would be very concerned that Neo has been hit by a car or attacked by another animal. Keep him in a cool, safe place. I would get him into a large crate if possible and minimize moving or handling until you can get to a vet. Do not give any otc pain meds as they are toxic to cats. Often vet clinics have an after hours emergency line so I would call your regular vet to see if they have an emergency service or where they refer emergencies to. Please get Neo to an Er Clinic ASAP.

What do you do if you suspect a kitten has a leg injury and will not walk on the leg, but it doesn't seem broken, just painful? Its almost like a sprain.
Poor Tyr! My cat is also named Tyr! You can't rule out his leg being broken without an x-ray. He is in a lot of pain if he won't walk on the leg, and unfortunately there are no OTC pain medications you can give him. Many human ones are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. You need to take him into a vet today to get this diagnosed and treated. I strongly urge you to take him into a vet now. Best of luck.

Poor Milo! You are doing the right thing by resting him, and I would keep doing that until you can get him into the vet. I would not allow him to go outside if he's allowed outside. Unfortunately there's not much you can do but rest him. You cannot give him any human pain medications because many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. The only safe pain medications are from the vet. You can try resting him for the next 24-48 hours, and if he's still having problem with his front leg, take him into the vet. Take him in sooner is if you are concerned he is in a lot of pain. Good luck I hope this helps!

Poor kitty! It does sound like he has suffered an injury, and it's quite serious that he isn't going to the bathroom, eating, or drinking. He sounds like he is very painful, and unfortunately he has to see a vet immediately. He will need pain meds, and you cannot give him any human ones. That's because many are toxic to cats, and are fatal if given. In order to treat him correctly, he has to be diagnose by a vet, and there truly isn't anything you can do for him at home. Attempting to self treat him without knowing the cause of his symptoms is never recommended, as you may accidentally do harm to him. I would see if you can find a friend to drive you into a vet now. Grey should really be seen by a vet as soon as possible., If this is not an option, you should keep him rested and offer small amount of water and liquid food every 2-3 hrs. You may have to use a syringe if he is not taking food by himself. Unfortunately, human painkillers are dangerous to cats and there are no home remedies either that can be helpful for Grey. It is hard to say what happened to him, he may have broken limb, muscular discomfort or painful abdomen from internal organ trauma. He needs full clinical assessment to find out what has happened.

Keep Jerry confined to a small room or large crate to limit any movement. Offer him water and food. Do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. Have him seen by a vet asap.
