My 5 year old pointer mix (indoor dog, weighs around 72 lbs) has a very sensitive stomach. He throws up on avg of once a week. He will lick carpet, floor, when nauseated and eat anything he can get to to make himself vomit. What is wrong. He urinates and poops normally and has an appetite.

Chronic vomiting can be cause by various reasons such as food intolerance, a chronic infection, intestinal worms, pancreatitis, foreign body in the stomach and many more. you need to take him to the vet in order to get checked and have some tests done in order to attempt to find out what is causing this symptom.
