Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 4.5 lbs
so my kitten (4 months old) actually LOVES his carrier and car rides. he is a great traveler, which is extra important to me because i'm a college student and i have to drive 3.5 hours between home and campus a few times a year. but i have to take him to the vet this week to be neutered and i'm worried he will stop liking the car after the scary experience. what can i do to make sure he won't have negative associations with the car and the carrier?

After his neuter, keep taking him places in the car with you. Keep some treats on hand, bring his favorite toy and make the trips a pleasant, enjoyable experience. Take to a friend's house, just to ride through the drive-thru, whatever so that he associates car rides with fun.
