My dog has a painful paw wound and is losing fur. How can I help?

My little dog start to lost hair in his paw and got a very bad wound in the area as you can see in the picture. What can I do to help him? Pet's info: Dog | Poodle | Female | 2 years old | 7 lbs

Oh goodness. That looks like a pretty severe infected wound. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. In the meantime you can soak it in warm water and Epsom salts. This is right on the bone and if the bone gets infected it becomes very serious. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon.
