I have a female cat approx 17-18 yrs old who is suffering from issues with here back legs. It affects her balance and hinders her walking somewhat although she does still get around. She seems happy and not in too much pain and her appetite is very good. The local pet store recommended I give her a product from a company called "Head to Tail" Hip and Joint. They are chewy tablets directed 2 per day- 1 in the am and 1 in pm with meals. Is this product safe for my cat and will she suffer any si

Yes, this is fine to give to your cat. Just be sure to get the one formulated for cats. I do recommend taking her into a vet, however, as she may be painful. Cats can be stoic about pain, and can be quite good at hiding it. If she is in pain, she would benefit from pain medications which the vet can prescribe. Unfortunately you cannot give her any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. I would have her seen by a vet in the next day or two. Good luck, I hope this helps!
