Why is my older dachshund lethargic and not eating for 24 hours?

My older doxie is lethargic and not eating. He is drinking water, urinating and having bowel movements. He’s been like this for 24 hours. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 25 lbs

Loss of appetite and lethargy can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, systemic infection, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Buckley evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment.
