My cat's litter box smells sickly sweet. Could it be diabetes?

I have 3 cats and 3 large litter boxes. if I dont clean the boxes multiple times a day the whole house smells sickly sweet. I dont know if its the litter or something wrong with one of the cats? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 years and 10 months old | 15 lbs

This makes me suspicious that one of the cats may have diabetes. If any of the cats are drinking more water or urinating more frequently then that would increase my concerns of diabetes.
