Why is my 13-year-old male cat peeing on the carpet after moving?

My male cat who's 13 keeps weeing on the carpet. Same place every time. We loved house 18 months ago. Before he was an outdoor cat. We have given him a litter box, fellaway etc. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 12 years and 10 months old | 22 lbs
